FIRST IMPRESSIONS

VISUAL: Appearance-wise, Akira is fairly forgettable by Japanese standards. Messy black hair frames the vanity spectacles over gray eyes. His attire tends to consist of grays, whites, and blacks, but he'll often break the monochrome monarchy with colorful t-shirts or hoodies.
AURAL: JP & EN samples. Generally, Akira keeps a calm, neutral tone. Around friends there's a notable brightness in his voice, and he has a natural penchant towards a teasing inflection.
OLFACTORY: On any given day he carries the scent of various coffee roasts. It's rather telling that he either works at a cafe or is a very enthusiastic brewer.
DEMEANOR: By most accounts, he's easy to miss. Don't take that to mean he's a wallflower. Quiet, unintrusive, and content to observe, Akira simply tends to lay low in crowds. The less he stands out at a glance, the better. However, anyone who takes a moment to let their focus linger will note a strikingly confident aura exuding from the young man. His eyes practically glow with self-assured determination, and one would struggle to find an ounce of doubt or insecurity in his gait. And just because he likes to watch doesn't mean he'll simply sit back and let someone get pushed around in his presence. His desire to protect the downtrodden is all but guaranteed to prompt him to intervene.

IN CHARACTER

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Go for it. He doesn't mind much if there's rapport with your character. Will be much more open to affection with other members of the Phantom Thieves (particularly Ryuji and Ann)
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Fight threads are cool, even though I don't write them that often anymore. Hit him and see what happens.
RELATIONSHIPS: Open to non-/romantic CR with castmates and cross-canon! M/F highly preferred for cross-canon romance, but I will ship him with most of his castmates. Slow-burn is cool, but we're adults and time is a myth, so I'm also willing to plot out established CR!
SMUT: Fine with me. Sexual preferences mirror romantic preferences. Sometimes I'm in the mood to write the scene out, sometimes I prefer to fade. Kink list over here. Keep it to 16+.

MAGICAL INFORMATION: Akira possesses the ability to manifest his willpower in the form of a supernatural entity known as a Persona. Personas do cool magic stuff and hit their enemies really hard.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Undiagnosed post-traumatic stress disorder from his incarceration and interrogation by Tokyo police.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Akira responds extremely poorly to being choked, intentional or otherwise. Expect to see talk of physical, mental, and sexual abuse. Drug use, too. The cops were not nice to him. In-game Akira (as a minor in Many Countries Not Named Japan) has the option of dating one or more adult characters, so keep that in mind.

BACKTAGGING: Absolutely fine. If you think a thread's too old to tag, just ask! It probably isn't
THREADHOPPING: Also fine, so long as the other party's fine with it
FOURTHWALLING: Not unless it's asked for. I do like injecting a little tongue-in-cheek humor into prose, though
NOT INTERESTED IN: Not really looking for any gory or horror-heavy plots.
ANYTHING ELSE: I'm still getting through P5 Royal's content, and I've never played PQ2. I don't mind spoilers at all, so don't worry about having to censor any information!
